Star of Hope Mission Ending homelessness ... one life, one family at a time.

Every year Star of Hope Mission holds a commencement ceremony for the teens who have graduated from high school and are preparing for the new chapter in their lives. This year, we had the pleasure of celebrating 16 teens who accomplished this great milestone, 14 with aspirations for college, one teen to receive a professional license in plumbing, and one teen entering the Navy! It is an amazing feeling when I am able to witness our youth grow in Christ, make positive choices for their future, and follow their dreams!

Our manager of youth ministry spoke to the teens about how she witnessed their personal relationships with Christ grow since their arrival to Star of Hope Mission! She also shared how their continued growth in Him has helped them stay faithful and hopeful, despite their situation. Our youth services coordinator left the teens with words of encouragement and plans to keep in contact with them!

Star of Hope Mission is truly blessed with amazing donors who help our teens. We would like to thank Grace Presbyterian Church for providing our teens with dorm room essentials to start them on their new chapter in life and another donor who provided each teen a graduation cake in their favorite flavor!

I ask that you continue to pray for all of our teens, and these 16 in particular to stay focused and encouraged as they begin a new chapter in life.
