Genesis is a program that provides brighter paths for youth 18-24 aging out of foster care, through a Christ-centered approach to independence. This intensive program is one year in length and will cover topics such as: understanding God’s plan for your life, money and time management, healthy relationships, overcoming barriers, dealing with loss, forgiveness, health and nutrition, individual and group counseling.
This program will provide: a nurturing and stable environment to help establish independent living; increases youth’s ability to function independently while establishing structure; and help youth achieve greater self-determination, set reachable goals and learn life management skills.
