New Ending Homelessness 2016

Star of Hope Mission
Welcomes Back Volunteers!

Volunteers are welcomed back to work alongside staff. Without the help of thousands of volunteers each year, Star of Hope Mission simply could not meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness in the Houston area. People like YOU truly make our work possible! Serve a meal, facilitate a class, offer a special or professional skill. You can make an impact on someone’s life today. Volunteers make a direct impact as part of our community united in ending homelessness one life, one family at a time.

As Star of Hope Mission cares for our most vulnerable neighbors in the face of COVID-19, we are supported by volunteers in activities adjusted for social distancing and safety.

Volunteers must be healthy to serve. You should not volunteer if you, or someone in your household:

To view onsite and “volunteer in place” opportunities, please click the “Welcome Back” button below. We are so grateful for the ongoing support and care you continue to show Star of Hope. You are close to our hearts and we cannot wait to see you again soon!

If you would like to continue helping us in other ways, please lift up Star of Hope in prayer, consider hosting an in-kind donation drive or make an online donation. If you have any questions, please reach out at volunteerservices@sohmission.org. We will continue to post updates on our website and look forward to seeing you at Star of Hope soon!
