You are part of an amazingly FAITHFUL legacy. For the past 115 years, generous Houstonians have given their time and treasures to care for others here at Star of Hope.
Even through pandemics, wars and hurricanes, care for Houston’s homeless continued without fail at Star of Hope and, through it all … we grew and flourished.
For the first 85 years, Star of Hope only served single men. Then we expanded to also care for women and families. Twelve years ago, we grew again to serve those nearly homeless and those who complete our programs. Today, an additional 500 people receive help to remain in their homes and grow in faith and well-being.
Now more is to come. For the past year, our board and staff have worked diligently on Star of Hope’s Vision 2030: a broad and exciting plan to expand our services and enrich our offerings throughout our city. We will keep you posted as we make progress, and we welcome your help, prayers and involvement in this new work!
I am so thankful for your friendship. Mercy has always abounded at Star of Hope, and I believe it will continue as long as God gives us His grace and friends like you to share the load.
May God bless you. I hope you enjoy this report of the blessed work you support.
Serving with you in Christ,
