Star of Hope is, and always has been a Christ-centered ministry, dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and children in our city, forever changing lives.
In this Ministry Report, you will see how lives were changed through God’s healing and your support in 2023.
With Star of Hope now in its 116th year of operation, God has blessed thousands upon thousands of men, women and families. And, of special importance, last year Star of Hope’s ministries city-wide witnessed nearly 1,000 decisions for Christ, which were made by the men, women and children who were in our care while homeless. They began a new life, gained a new purpose and a new reason to live.
After residents leave our direct care, Star of Hope’s Extended Services team continues to provide case management and support to help them maintain their independence. Through skilled case managers, periodic visits continued to address needs developed along the way. For many, an independent life was secured.
All of this was made possible by you, and many others like you who care. Thank you for the gifts of your finances, your time and talents, your prayers and your volunteering as we together serve Houston’s homeless men, women and children.
