Last week at our Women and Family Development Center’s Commencement Ceremony, we celebrated nine women who were recognized for completing various Star of Hope educational programs. It is an amazing feeling witnessing the life transformation our residents achieve through Star of Hope Mission’s Personal, Professional, and Spiritual Development Programs.

When homeless women and children end up at our doors, they are seeking safety and need help putting their lives back together. They find all of this at the Star of Hope and benefit from the quality recovery and educational programs we offer. Many of the graduates are now leading successful lives with a good job and place of their own to live. Most importantly, many have a new or renewed relationship with Jesus Christ!

At last week’s commencement ceremony, these nine ladies were awarded certificates of completion following a lovely time of praise and worship. A few of them shared very touching testimonies about their personal relationship with Christ since their arrival to Star of Hope. They expressed how growth in Him has helped them stay faithful and hopeful, despite their current homeless situation.

We give God all the glory and would also like to thank you, our amazing donors and volunteers for continuously supporting our mission! Star of Hope is truly blessed with amazing supporters who help our residents improve their life skills and grow in their walk with Christ. You helped change their lives! Please continue to pray for these women to stay focused and encouraged as they begin a new chapter of life. Thank you!
