Get Help Give Now

Our volunteers make a positive impact at the Star of Hope! They are the hands and feet of Jesus to help us serve those in need, and we are blessed to have them back in our facilities. They are excited to be serving alongside our staff once again! Volunteers are an important part of the Star of Hope family … brothers and sisters in Christ, who are willing to give their time to help those in need.

You can make a huge difference in the lives of Houston’s homeless at the Women & Family Development Center at Star of Hope’s Cornerstone Community® campus, and at the Men’s Development Center. With the holidays approaching and availability opening from Monday to Sunday, there will be more opportunities to volunteer! You can provide precious resources of time and talent to help us meet the needs of our residents. We would love to have you!

Everyone who serves at Star of Hope is a tremendous blessing to the ministry. They give their time to ensure our residents are learning, children are having fun, and everyone is growing in their relationship with Christ.

If you would like to help us in other ways, please lift Star of Hope in prayer, consider hosting an in-kind donation drive or make an online donation. May God bless you!

Mr. Hank Rush, God has used many people as a light to the homeless through Star of Hope. I have even had opportunities to donate as well. As a recent resident from 8/20/21-10/24/21 MY HOPE IN STAR OF HOPE IS SHATTERED, AND THEY HAVE PERPETUATED OUR FAMILY’S HOMELESS STATE during this holiday time. My 7 children and I endured many hardships and unloving ways at the hands of the staff at Star of Hope. The housing help was never open when I went to obtain housing assistance, and our family was kicked out over my denial to sign a contract my case manager knew I couldn’t keep. I don’t believe God is pleased with the way me and other residents were treated. He will fight for us. If you would like to know more about our stories, please contact me at the email address associated with this comment. God’s will be done.
