As Mother’s Day approaches, I think of the loving and selfless hearts of many mothers at Star of Hope. This is a special time to celebrate and honor all moms and women who serve as mother figures in our lives. I am thankful to Trees of Hope for holding its Moms Matter campaign and raising funds to create Mother’s Day gift bags for our Star of Hope moms.
Last week, Trees of Hope presented the gift bags at a brunch! It was a fun morning where more than 50 of our mothers were honored and had the opportunity to visit with the Trees of Hope board members to share the challenges and joys they face as mothers. Events like these make a difference in the lives of our residents, and it was a perfect way to show Star of Hope moms they are appreciated and loved.
