Every year Star of Hope Mission holds a graduation celebration for the teens who have finished high school and are preparing for the next chapter in their lives. This year we had the pleasure of celebrating 12 of our teens who graduated from high school and are following their dreams to continue their professional journey!
Six are going on to pursue a college degree. Two joined the navy, another the Army and three are looking forward to starting their first jobs. Without the basic care, counseling, tutoring and mentoring they received while at Star of Hope, many of them would probably not have made it through their high school years.
We are so proud of our high school graduates, and we are so grateful to you for playing such an important part in giving them hope for a better future. I ask that you pray for all our teens, but especially for these 12 recent graduates as they embark on this new journey!
Your generous support and prayers have helped set these teens on the path to end the cycle of homelessness that has been so much a part of their young lives. Thank you to everyone who contributed to their success and for making this yet another Summer of Hope!
