Star of Hope Mission Ending homelessness ... one life, one family at a time.

Piece by Peace

In three weeks, we will once again celebrate the Star of Hope Annual Banquet scheduled for Friday, February 15 at the Hilton Americas Hotel. We hope you will join us!

I would like to thank our Host Committee Chairs Marian and Willie Langston for their steadfast support of Star of Hope and this year’s event.

This year we will honor our faithful supporters who have been steadfast in their commitment to serve Star of Hope – The Astros Foundation, who will receive the Heart of Hope Award, and Susan Little and Warren Holleman, Ph.D. who will receive the George and Barbara Bush Points of Light Award. And of course, the highlight of the evening will be testimonies from our clients!

We will also be blessed with a special performance by Christian and Gospel Artist, 7-time Grammy Nominee, and 5-time Gospel Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year, Natalie Grant!

Every day people arrive at our doors broken … but at Star of Hope, they are given the opportunity to piece their lives back together through the hope and peace found in Jesus Christ. Thanks to our donors, volunteers, churches and other supporters, we have served thousands of homeless individuals and families in our city. And the need continues to grow as our community relies on Star of Hope more and more. God has blessed and grown this amazing ministry for nearly 112 years now, and building on those strong roots, we pray God will continue to bless Star of Hope and those we serve for years to come!

We look forward to sharing all of this and more with you at the Banquet on February 15! If you haven’t done so already, there is still time to register to attend. I hope you can join us for a wonderful and uplifting evening. Thank you for all that you do to help Star of Hope!
