I am an expecting mother and as I was working on my registry, I realized how expensive diapers were. I knew for my 30th birthday that I would want to help several people in need in some way and came up with the idea to help at least 30 struggling mothers by donating a box of diapers to each of them. So I decide to do a 30 for 30 diaper donation give away for my 30th birthday! I went ahead and purchased the first box of diapers and with the power of social media, I encouraged my friends and others to join in by donating at least one box!
On Wednesday, March 1st (the day before my birthday) I was able to donate about 30 boxes of diapers! It really warms my heart to see so many thoughtful people with giving hearts. I also asked for people to provide a note of encouragement so that the receiving mothers will know that someone is thinking about them. It takes a village to raise a child, so those who donated contributed to helping a Star of Hope mother in raising her child.
