2019 Takin’ Hope to the Streets

 
 

Dear Star of Hope Volunteer:

 

The time has come for our annual Takin’ Hope to the Streets Outreach event. Next Friday, October 25, 2019 we will have a Block Party style event right in the parking lot of our Men’s Development Center; located at 1811 Ruiz.

 

This event will take place from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.  (See Flyer for more details) 

 

Help us bring the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ to those living on the streets of Houston.  It’s a matter of LIFE and DEATH.  Star of Hope Mission is Takin’ HOPE to the Streets!  HOPE will be offered in the form of HOPE Bags (hygiene kits), water, snack bags, food and fellowship.  Come help us spread HOPE!

 

20+ Volunteers are needed to share HOPE, hygiene kits, water and snack bags with homeless and indigent on the streets of Houston. T-Shirts will be provided to volunteers while supplies last.

 

Here is your opportunity to serve! (Areas of need) – Hope Leader – Hope Volunteers – Welcome Parade – Serving Food – Assisting the Hair Cut Booth – Prayer Booth – Hope Bags

 

If you’re not able to make it to the event, but would like to support here are some ways you can help. – Donate food items: chips, granola bars, water, juice boxes, crackers – Donate hygiene items: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, razors, wet wipes, comb, brush etc. – Pray for the event!
