Purpose: Touch one life with the good news of JESUS CHRIST. It’s a matter of LIFE and DEATH! Star of Hope Mission, Twentyfour4Twenty and Ecclesia Church is partnering to take HOPE to the streets. Our goal is to bring hope and peace to the lost and hurting and to share the gift of SALVATION.

Takin’ Hope to the Streets is a city-wide evangelistic effort aimed at engaging the homeless and hurting in the Houston area. Star of Hope Mission, partnering with Twentyfour4Twenty and Ecclesia Church, will distribute water, sack lunches and share the love of Jesus with those living and gathering in the streets. Volunteers and Staff will create teams to spread “HOPE” in the city.

Teams: Each team will have a HOPE Leader, Driver, Spotter and a Social Media Poster. There will be NO teams less than three people. Each team should have someone who has a cell phone and is willing to use it for the purposes of calling the Hope Station, emergencies and for social media postings: Twitter, Facebook and Instagram Please use: #hope2streets

When taking pictures please be sensitive to those who are homeless or near homeless. Ask for permission or only take pictures that will not show the face of the individual. Permissible Photos: The back of the individual’s head, Hope Teams Praying/Sharing Hope/Street Signs/Shopping Carts/Etc.
