What a great evening at the “Spark New Beginnings” Star of Hope Annual Banquet Tuesday night! Thank you so much to all our friends who could be with us as we celebrated the work God is doing through our ministries including our Extended Services Team and programs for men, women and families. If you were one of our friends who was not able to be there, we missed you!
Highlights of the evening included an uplifting performance by Newsboys, inspiring testimonies from Star of Hope clients, Cedrick and Candice, and an opportunity for guests to prepare Hope Bags – hygiene kits that will be used to minister to the street homeless via our Love-in-Action outreach program. We also recognized Sherry and Jim R. Smith, Sr. and Jaci and Jim R. Smith, Jr. with the Heart of Hope Award and Donna Grehn with the George and Barbara Bush Points of Light Award.
All those we serve would not be able to live as God intended without your support and prayers. Thank you for all that you do for Star of Hope!
