Thanks to caring Houstonians, Star of Hope has been God's answer to the prayers of Houston's homeless since 1907. A Christ-centered organization, the Star of Hope ministers to more than 900 men, women, and children every day with food, clothing, shelter, Christian care and structured recovery programs. Through Emergency Shelters and Transitional Living Centers, Star of Hope touches the lives of more than 7,000 different homeless people each year - including over 1,600 children.
