The family friendly version of The Blind Side
The Blind Side is the inspiring, true story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player with the help of Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy. The Tuohys will be the featured speakers at Star of Hope's Anniversary Banquet, February 11, 2011. We encourage you to participate in this Can Film Festival by bringing cans of non-perishable food for Houston's homeless.
The night will be hosted by popular radio personality and Star of Hope board member Dana Tyson from SUNNY 99.1. A highlight of the evening will be TV 11 personality Deborah Duncan performing the Star of Hope song – a musical tribute she co-wrote last year.
